nmap problems

i waited like 5 mins and nothing happened.. tried a few times. how come the 
"nmap -A -T4 scanme.insecure.org" command wontwork. i just tried the command 
you said...
"nmap -vvv -P0 scanme.insecure.org" and got this below. the scan took about 6 
mins.

how come it says all the ports are filted, but yet you got port 80,22,53 as 
open.. grrrr
somethings wrong. do you have windows xp? how many minutes did it take your 
scan to complete? do you know if their some patch you have to install for xp to 
get nmap running. do you know of other people using windows xp that cant get 
it to work? i tired doing the scan with the firewall off, same results. i just 
did a ping to using nmap
"nmap -sP scanme.insecure.org"  is that just a command to do a regular ping.. 
like typing "ping scanme.insecure.org" are they doing the same thing.. just 
sending icmp packets?
here what i get when i do the command above....
