I suggest you read my previous message again especially the part where
i said 'to me text = ' i am quite well aware of what CSS and colors
are and what graphics are and at some level or another text and
graphics are both binary... especially if you started talking about
text encoding schemes and other such off topic things... but an
argument as stupid and pointless as this belongs on IRC or some
gameing board not the development list for nmap.

stou

CSS *is* text, colors are part of text.

to me text-only = no CSS, no colors, just hyperlinks and text, no real

i should've been more clear, i was not advocating 'fancy graphics',
flash, java applets, activex controls or any other such things...

your site has a lot of very useful information on it, and to me the
extra
decorations just obscure the site content, which doesn't need to be
'gussied' up or made more enticing in my opinion.

Your core audience is technical people after all, yes?

I disagree with that, i am personaly tired of text only pages like
that of a lot of open source software. graphics and 'effects' on the
new site are not overdone and add a nice friendliness to it...

Fancy graphics won't help us on slow modem lines.
Text-only is fast, clear, and concise.
