I'm in the UK, or I'd certainly come along. Do you usually send details of
these talks to the lists? I have no doubt that such a talk would be most
interesting :)

It was a pretty informal gathering, and I don't believe there is any
transcript or video.  I first discussed all of the examples at (
http://www.insecure.org/presentations/SFOBUG03/ ), describing how each
command was instructed and interpreting all the subtle details in the
results.  Then I answered questions for maybe an hour (this was a
very smart and insightful group).  We also discussed some of the
negative uses of Nmap.  An article giving an interesting perspective

You didn't say what part of Europe you are in, but I will be speaking
and moderating round tables at the IT-Defense conference on January 29
in Ludwigsburg, Germany.  Other speakers include Lance Spitzner, Bruce
Schneier, Marty Roesch, and more.  Full details are at
