I have searched the net looking for a definitive answer to this question but have come up dry. QUESTION: Is there a way to completely fool (or block) OS detection from scanners (like nmap, queso, etc.) using the Linux OS? What about Windoze?
Under linux try iplog ( http://ojnk.sourceforge.net/ ) with -z as option. I've been using it for a while, and it works like a charm. Under windows, i have absolutely no idea. -- "You can be sure of succeeding in your attacks if you only attack places which are undefended.
