Many Big PTTs have a lot of ducts in many places, it is easy for them to lay fibers, especially in cities.

Funny, that with the current lead times for electronics, Fiber could be faster.
Of course, it is a temporary glitch.

Even in the same market, no two lays of fibre can be guaranteed to be completed in the same time.
