Try insulting them on Facebook. I did that several years ago in regards to wanting to be able to purchase HBO on-line 
without having to subscribe to it through a cable operator and shortly after, they launched a service to do just that.

(No, I’m not convinced that my insulting them on facebook had a causal effect, but it’s at least an amusing thought).

Geolocate and VPN or Not are often kind of tied to the same kinds of reporting services and it may well be that 
whatever provider HBO is using for one is also being used for the other.
