I have Googled and read RFCs about IPv6 for HOURS.
Hours? Is that all?
How does IPv6 addressing work?
The best overview that I know of is here: <http://www.getipv6.info/index.php/IPv6_Addressing_Plans> It is mostly summarised from a thread on the NANOG mailing list. Don't assume that an IPv4 expert can give you good advice on IPv6. Many IPv4 experts have only a marginal understanding of v6. Do your own research. Go to Barnes and Noble, spend a couple of months with Google, and check out the other pages on the website above. --Michael Dillon
