We're using the 7x50s for the core and 7710s for border routers.  I'd be happy to discuss.  However, there is a list 
for Alcatel: puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/juniper-nsp

I've been on it for a couple of months, but I have yet to see an email from it.  I have been wanting to get discussion 
going there, so let's take the conversation there.
