And this is an ARIN issue, not a NANOG one, as Alec < pointed out. yes it is an ARIN issue but ARIN established teh public policy meeting and mailing list to take input - it would be nice to have a way of understanding the level of support for a proposal in the ops community before the ARIN members go off to vote Scott
