Sounds like circular reasoning: Path MTU discovery is broken beacuse poeple use RFC1918 addresses in routers.
Actually, PMTU isn't broken just because people use RFC1918 in routers. It's broken because people use RFC1918 in routers and other people (or perhaps the same) filter packets with RFC1918 SAs. -danny
