Change in the way history works ?

Has there been a change in the way history works in Meterpreter / 
Metsasploit I may have missed ?

Normally when u leave a meterpeter session you get the history stack 
from previous commands executed at the msf> prompt.

Now when at the msf> prompt you get history from the meterpreter 
sessions - if its changed I prefer the old way - if not is it a bug ?
