Bare-minimum requirements to run metaspoilt

Hi guys,

I am new to meta-spolit and was wondering what would be the minimum PC
requirements that would enable metasploit to run smoothly.

And also how would metasploit fare on exploiting virtual PCs as well as
running on virtual ones?
