Hi all, My friend Patrik found a bug. After looking into it it looks like the modules modules/auxiliary/server/capture/* can't be started by msfcli. The problem is lib/msf/base/simple/auxiliary.rb that starts the modules in the background. If you remove the line 'Capture' under 'PassiveActions => [ in the module it will run fine with msfcli, but it will not run in the background with msfconsole. Looks like an option is missing or checks if the module could be run in the background (as a job). Regards
Thanks! We have a ticket open for this, the solution is to nuke msfcli and replace it with a works-the-same wrapper around msfconsole. Passive exploits are tricky to handle in msfcli and even if we get the basics working, they still wouldn't allow multiple sessions to be accessed. -HD _______________________________________________ https://mail.metasploit.com/mailman/listinfo/framework
