You are probably using backtrack or a distro that doesn't have vncviewer installed by default. Oh and even if you don't use the 'vncviewer' package, you can still use any VNC client you wish, just have it connect locally to 127.0.0.1:5900 (most clients you don't need to specify the port) If you are using backtrack, simply do an: apt-get install vncviewer and you should be good to go for it automatically popping up. -- Rob Fuller | Mubix Room362.com | Hak5.org | TheAcademyPro.com On Wed, Dec 2, 2009 at 12:14 AM, Jeffs <jeffs () speakeasy net> wrote:
Running vncinject does not bring up gui on attacker. This is what I see: [*] Please wait while we load the module tree... [*] Started reverse handler on port 4444 [*] Starting the payload handler... Just blank screen after that. A process list on the victim does indeed show the process running properly. What am I missing here? thanks. _______________________________________________ https://mail.metasploit.com/mailman/listinfo/framework
