problem using Framework 2.2

Someone else reported this problem as well; something is preventing the software from creating sockets. This is usually the sign of a restrictive local firewall configuration (zonealarm, etc), but you both stated that no firewall was running. We have tested 2.2 on Windows XP (SP0, SP1, SP2) and have not been able to reproduce this problem; I will try it again with internet connection sharing enabled. If you temporary disable ICS, does the problem go away? -HD On Tuesday 14 September 2004 19:15, [Arcangel] wrote:
I installed the new framework 2.2 for windows (a clean install, not updating). I have some problems using it.

The metasploit framework is running on windows XP SP1 with the "windows shared internet connection" and I have no firewall. (It could be that it not be able to find the correct interface (IP) to go out to internet????) I really dont know whats its wrong.... please. :-)
