Of possible interest to the IP list –The Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the National Academies has released a report on the scope and nature of computational thinking (free at http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=12840 ). In addition, this report also addresses the relationship of computational thinking to other disciplines. In the spirit of stimulating community discussion about this topic, you are invited to participate in an ongoing conversation about computational thinking on a blog, "Computational Thinking for Everyone," at http://ctforeveryone.wordpress.com . This blog poses a series of questions about computational thinking, and we invite your comments on these questions and on the workshop report. Thanks Herb Lin ____________________________________________ Herb Lin Chief Scientist, Computer Science and Telecommunications Board The National Academies (202) 334-3191 voice || (202) 334-2318 fax || hlin () nas eduwww.cstb.org || Where the nation turns for independent and informed assessments of computing, communications, and public policy
