No, it wasn't.Enron under Thomas White was trying to control the bit market, as they controlled the energy market in California.
But thanks to DWDM this proved impossible. The market collapsed, and so did Enron.
Good riddance.I don't like to see this kind of revisionist history trying to pretend that Enron was just a "market-oriented" outfit trying to do right by customers. They were seeking to corner markets and screw customers, everywhere.
