i think this could actually be the greatest biological "terror"
threat facing the general population, and it was created by
the overuse of antibiotics not just in people but in agriculture.
having personally survived a hospital-acquired MRSA infection,
i spent a lot of time talking to my "bug doctor", and he
related the factoid that researchers are convinced that MRSA
arose so quickly because of using antibiotics in *fish farming*.

http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5126a1.htm

describes the appearance of VRSA - vancomycin resistant
Staphylococcus aureus.

if it becomes mobile like the MRSA in your previous note,
it will be very, very serious.
