Over the past year, SETI researchers have been developing software that uses hundreds of thousands of home and office computers to simultaneously analyse radio noise and look for signals from space. The software is finally ready for Windows, Macs, and UNIX. It works as a screensaver and uses the computer when you are not using it. It's a free download, about 750 KB, and easy to install. Fetch it at http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ There are several explanatory articles there as well. Put your office computers to work at night. If you have extra computers, put them all to work. Pass this email to your friends. ___________________________________________________ Andreas Ramos andreas () andreas com www.andreas.com
