"Creating The 21st Century Library at Penn" will cover both the

that Penn is using to do "knowledge management" for scholars.

The Library at the University of Pennsylvania is considered to be one of
the best "Digital Libraries" in North America, and has the modest goal
of becoming the best academic digital library. Our current partners
include Verity, Inc., Endeavor Information Systems, and Oxford
University Press, among others. New partnerships are being sought.

For a preview of Penn's Digital Library, and to register for one of the
events, see

stunning Shakespeare site, a history-books-on-line project (with Oxford
University Press), songs from Marian Anderson, a never-before-published
audio of Maestro Leopold Stokowski playing the Passacaglia for Organ in
C Minor, and other wonderful surprises.

University of Pennsylvania since 1988.
Before coming to Penn, he held senior administrative positions with
Stanford University Libraries, including
Deputy Director (1985-1988). Dr. Mosher holds degrees from Portland
State University (BA 61)
