IP readers might like to see what some of the folks at DEC/Compac have been
doing.  Itsy, 
<http://www.research.digital.com/wrl/itsy> is more a research platform than
a product, but I have to admit that I lust after a copy or three.  There
are several nice things: the OS is Linux, the tools gnu, and the processor
a StrongArm.
