Quick thoughts on Andy's question - Why aren't US hardware company's
going after the subnotebook market like the Japanese manufacturers.
**WindowsCE**. Yep, it's the 'never bet against Microsoft' strategy at
work. And they're right. Why spend +/- $2400 when you can get a truly
powerful desktop and an even more mobile Jupiter class CE machine (that
synchronizes with ease) for less money? Just wait until Comdex and
you'll see what I'm talking about.


These new machines are cool toys, but too specialized and too expensive.
