Attached is the config.log
Thanks for everyones help.

It says that it cannot load the libdnet shared library. It's an
indication that you did not run ldconfig. Try running ldconfig
on /usr/local/lib and let me know if that solved your problem.

I'll add this question to

  http://www.honeyd.org/faq.php

make sure that you look there first for solutions :-)

Hi!

I run Fedora on my computer and I can not get Honeyd 0.8b to work. I have tried running ldconfig -n /usr/local/lib (should it be -n or -m in the faq at www.honeyd.org?)and I have added /usr/local/lib manually to /etc/ld.so.conf. But still Honeyd complains that I should install a more recent version of libdnet. The config.log from Honeyd can be found at http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~ostvang/config.log. Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated.
