Re: Autorun

I've seen a few digital cameras which won't "give it up" without their own proggie, but they are rare indeed. What I
normally do is pop out the card and plug it into a USB base station from SanDisk which mounts it as a drive on USB.
Simple matter of navigating down to the proper folder and copying out. However, as I indicated, some cameras are fussy
and require THEIR software to read from the connector on the camera itself.

Happy Chanukkah
Merry Christmas
Happy Festivus
Happy Boxing Day
Happy Kwanzaa
Happy St. Stephen's day and more! :)

Merry Christmas, all.

Last year I got a digital camera.

At some point this year I got concerned about Autorun, malware, USB keys
and all that, so I disabled it.

Bye bye digital camera.

Untrue.

I disabled AUTORUN a long time ago -- for things like digital cameras , or
anything else that relay on AUTORUN to automagically launch an application,
you can always simply move files around as you would any other attached
device/drive.

Easy stuff.
