And so was the world population in the middle ages when they thought
the world was flat. Nonetheless, they were completely wrong.

This is not about opinions. It's about misrepresentation and omissions
of facts and fear driven theories and speculations that have little to
do with reality... that result in nothing but trouble. I've lived in
Asia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, North America (obviously), and
have had encounters with South America as well. I've been to pretty
much all of those countries this discussion involves and experienced
the world from within... interacting with the people and observing
their life. My world history knowledge is enhanced by the first-hand
experience... and it doesn't just come from propaganda and history
books that were probably printed in 60s that sure didn't objectively
reflect the true state of world affairs. In no way am I pro-Russian or
a peace loving hippie who smoked his brains out back in the day... I'm
critical of pretty much most countries... because their governments
have done a lot of stupid things. I am, however, pro-logic and proper
use of facts and giving the complete picture no matter who's involved.

Every single statement Brzenzinski made can be challenged and proven
to be incorrect. I actually challenge you to back up those theories
and speculations with proper facts and logic. Yes, we are all entitled
to our opinions, but those opinions mean nothing if they are not
backed up by facts. I made my case... I pointed out the numerous
flaws in the logic and the facts. The "yeah, sure, whatever" response
sure doesn't sound very convincing.

No... no... no... and no again. He is completely off base.

You are entitled to your opinion -- and so am I, and so is
Mr. Brzezinski.

Personally, I agree with him.

'Nuff said.
