 What's particularly humorous about this is that those "throwaways" generally have serial numbers that are easy to 
"echelon" without difficulty since those are the most likely phones to be used for any sort of "criminal enterprise" 
and desireable because of the "no billing address" nature of the sale of "prepaid phones." If these clowns actually ARE 
terrorists, they're dumbasses.

Another story I read said when they were taken they had opened all the
packages and had collected the phones. It didn't sound like a good
resale strategy. 

I can't imagine the substance of what they could be charged with, but
they certainly sound dirty.
