You suggest the most fantastical solution, when a simpler one will
suffice... the problem is, the simpler one (as outlined by others on the
list) doesn't fit your political paradigm, as evidenced by your
unsubstantiated accusations of lies and deceit at every turn by this
administration.

As if the administration were a singular person, rather than a list of
individuals capable of independent thought and action...

By way of example, the administration wasn't impeached while Clinton was in
office-- the President was. The administration doesn't lie cheat or steal
Ferg... people IN the administration might though.

I know Occam's Razor as well as anyone.

Pray tell, how is that the case?

I'd love to hear your explanation in that regard.

Ahhh, revisionist history. Gotta love it. ;-)

Here are just a few references for you:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nixon's_Enemies_List

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/COINTELPRO

 ...and finally:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_Committee

I could find more, but that's enough to illustrate that people in
positions of power misuse those powers for illegal
purposes. That is
explicitly why there need to be checks and balances to
prevent any one
branch of governement from steamrolling it's will upon the other(s).

Cheers,
