Well Ferg, perfect quote for me to argue about - what if it wasn't a
waste of resources? What if it was effective? Would it then be okay,
regardless of laws? Would it be okay so long as any laws against it
were repealed? WHEN is it okay for the government to invade your
privacy?

It didn't start with terrorists - it started with drug dealers. No one
said anything and this is just more of the same, the camel comes a
little further into the tent.

Of course, if they're the "leading practitioner" of this kind of
analysis, and it doesn't work, why do they do it so well? ;) And if
they're "leading practitioners" of this type of analysis, what do they
know about terrorists?
