Trust me, lots of people from every places in the world would prefer
that your government don't "do a damn thing".

Then you should be overjoyed that, after 100 years of stupidity, our leaders have decided to dump "realpolitik" (hey, we got it from the Germans, who are really smart) and promote democracy around the world. Personally, I've always felt our foreign policy was screwed up. I'm glad to see us finally promoting abroad the same principles we believe in ourselves. My next big dream would be to cut off all foreign aid to countries that don't agree with us. You want our money? Then play nice. Otherwise, you're on your own, or you can make deals with the devils of the world.

Maybe some day the whole world will be democratic. Then the millions who flock to our shores every year will be able to stay home and enjoy the fruits of our labor in their native country.

The stunning thing is, it took the moron, chimply-mc-bushitler to figure all this out. :-)
