Dear friends and foes,

This is black-n-white arguing. Neither the police creates crime
nor is some law NOT creating crime - if the DMCA is not enough
for you to justify this argument, then just remember the prohibition.

I think it's just a matter of what to do collectively. If there
wasn't any police or any security industry we would still have
firewalls and email-list like this, wouldn't we? An open
exchange amoung colleagues has more substance and power
in the long run, than anything else.

What pisses me off, is how we stare at congress and politicians
and companie$ . Why don't WE decide what is OK and what not?
I don't need a law to choose a spam-blocklist, and if there would
be one approved and digitally signed by the government or by
Microsoft or by SecurityFocus, then that would not be the one
of my choice.

Don't let anybody seduce you into black-n-white thinking
or other simplified models like cause-n-effect. Don't glue
your brain to morale or ready-to-use answers, stay free
and decide individually. Moment for moment.

That's my wish for all of us.
