It was 1996, and it did not happen - why? # The token hash will probably be replaced, with a published algorithm, in the next major update of the token firmware.
http://www.homeport.org/~adam/brainard.html (John Brainard, among other achievements, wrote the internal hash for the SecurID tokens. He's very smart.)
