For Linux el-cheapo "firewalling", has anybody yet mentioned antiquated-but-somewhat-usable <http://www.fwtk.org/ipfwadm/faq/ipfwadm-faq.html> or <http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/IPCHAINS-HOWTO.html> or <http://www.fwtk.org/mason/>? NB: www.fwtk.org has mirrors all over. For real firewalling, you would need proxies like unto venerable FWTK or recent announcement T.REX. Red Hat Linux will come with its own copy of the DHCP server. For the latest, and on-line documentation, cf. <http://www.isc.org/products/DHCP/>. -- Joe Yao jsdy () cospo osis gov - Joseph S. D.
