the company would like to>monitor>the employees activity to ensure they are not doinganything>unsavoury(porn,>hacking, abusing company privelidges).Would they have 'net access straight from the isp orwould they have to go through the company? If they go through the company, they have to authenticate with their user/pass anyways, so the company network stuff easily traced. Then you could require a user/pass to the company proxy server and track web usage that way. If they can just go through the isp, really the only way to track usage is to have the ISP do it for you. They can also set up site filters and proxy to block anything other than http...all that stuff.
