I am currently working on a Market Review of all the Firewall and VPN
products (as well as some other security products). So far I have 19
enterprise firewalls on my list. One of them is the ANS Interlock firewall,
however, since MCIWorldcom purchased ANS, it appears as though this firewall
has been discontinued. If anyone has any information that indicates
otherwise, please feel free to drop me a note. Laura

This does not appear to be correct. Contact Bill Appleman at
william.appleman () wcom com, 703-827-1426, to find a contact person for
the firewall sales; or try e-mailing security () reston wcom net.

OTOH, I can find only one URL that refers to selling the firewall, as
opposed to training on it or running it for you. Then again, the search
engine didn't find ANY of the latter. So far, the main problems appear
to be that WorldCom is having a very tough time integrating ANS, ANS
Intermanage, CompuServe Network Services, MCI, UUnet, Sprint, and
whoever else they've sucked up. The integrated Web site is very
dis-integrated.

Also, UUnet had a history of selling up Checkpoint Firewall-1 and
denigrating Interlock. This may also impede their accepting having to
sell it now. ;-/
