I'd love to hear any results from a cable-modem connected user, to see if hackers are scanning there yet or not.
My @Home cable-modem connected host is constantly scanned for Back Orifice and several common Linux vulnerabilities (imap, sunrpc). I also get random probes for telnet and ftp servers. I see several probes per day, about 50% from other @Home customers, and the rest from outside. One yahoo probes me twice per day, at random times, on the PC/Anywhere port (5632). -- C.
