Well, I think it is. But I'm a bit partial :-). Both are good
firewall solutions. The AltaVista firewall tends to be a bit more
plug and play, with an easy-to-use GUI and good, detailed
documentation.

% Is it possible to run Altavista firewall on Linux or am I expected to
% purchase a Digital Unix box to run it on?

AltaVista Firewall runs on Digital Unix and Windows NT. You can
download a fully functional copy from

http://www.altavista.software.digital.com

(Select the "Firewall Center" link)

If you have any questions about the product, don't hesitate to ask me.
