We did receive quotes for A3, A5, A3+Security, and A3+Compliance.  With our consortium pricing, the order (from lowest 
to highest) is A3, A3+Compliance, A3+Security, A5, and A3+Security/Compliance.  We are evaluating A3 or A3+Security.

Thank you all for your input.  It has given me a number of things to think about.

Also, take a look at this PDF from OETC to see if it helps answer some of your questions. We are considering the A5 
security add-on when we are forced to upgrade next budget cycle but will look closely at the pricing between full A5, 
ATP2  and the A5 security add on.

Initial quotes are indicating that it may cost less to go full A5, per user, rather than just buying the A5 add-on 
license.

REN-ISAC maintains that github repo mostly for operational scripts, but we do include that comparison chart which is 
routinely updated by a Microsoft government sector employee.



I think what you’re after would be the A3 in the light purple box + the Microsoft 365 A5 Security box shaded in black 
within the bigger A5 box.

I'm sorry.  I should be more specific.  We will be purchasing A3 to cover our campus.  There is an option for 
A5-Security (add on).  I have been looking for something that shows specifically A3 vs A3 + A5 security.  Maybe it is 
the same thing, but I'm not sure.  The table you supplied does show A3 vs A5, which helps (thank you), but there isn't 
a lot of detail (a good point to start digging from tho).
