We are a small K-12 boarding school and am a big fan of our Palo Alto. I realize we use it differently than colleges, but I really have enjoyed it. Our primary usage is blocking content and time by age, student, prefect etc. Primarily OS/x, IPad, and BYOD. Here is a case study that we did with them, at my request: Case Study<https://www.paloaltonetworks.com/customers/annie-wright-schools.html> Bob Williamson Network Administrator Annie Wright Schools | 827 N Tacoma Ave, Tacoma, WA 98403 | www.aw.org<http://www.aw.org/> D: 253.272.2216 | F: 253.572.3616 | Bob_Williamson () aw org<mailto:Bob_Williamson () aw org> From: The EDUCAUSE Security Constituent Group Listserv [mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU] On Behalf Of Kubb, Richard Sent: Wednesday, October 29, 2014 4:55 PM To: SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU<mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU> Subject: [SECURITY] Firewall Vendors Greetings, At Maryville we currently use a Sonicwall firewall that is rapidly reaching end of life and are starting to explore alternative vendors. Curious which vendors and models others are using for your firewall solution. We also use Packetshaper as part of our solution and we would consider a single firewall device and eliminate the use of Packetshaper if we can find the right solution. Regards, Rick.
