Scalable Privacy: An NSTIC Grant for the Identity Ecosystem

Are you interested in providing users more control over privacy, including consenting to release of attributes and
actively managing their identity in cyberspace? Would you like to hear about a national effort to build a consistent
and robust privacy infrastructure? Join us for this IAM Online, where Ken Klingenstein of Internet2 will discuss how
this federal pilot program will help develop tools and technologies to achieve these goals.

Under the grant, provided by NIST through the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace, Internet2 and
partner campuses will build this infrastructure through common attributes, user-effective privacy managers, anonymous
credentials, and the InCommon Federation. Many of the ideas and concepts pioneered in our community are being adapted
for use in the broader ecosystem.

Please plan to join us for this special presentation during Data Privacy Month! You'll find more information about the
presentation at www.incommon.org/iamonline<http://www.incommon.org/iamonline>.
