We are currently looking into options for connecting remote linux users

On my Fedora laptop:

% rpm -q ppp pptp
ppp-2.4.5-18.fc16.x86_64
pptp-1.7.2-12.fc15.x86_64

Connects up to the same PPTP server as all the Windows VPN users. Works fine.

Somebody else will have to comment on how well it plays with NetworkManager, I
disabled that way back when because it totally sucked at the time. I've never
found a need to re-enable it though...
