Can't speak to CPE qualifications, but as a bus-commuter, I have:

Subscriptions:

The Silver Bullet Podcast (Gary McGraw, industry/historical leader discussions)
The Reality Check Security Podcast (Gary McGraw, appsec and product/develpoment security)
Network Security Podcast (analyst types and a QSA nattering on recent events, mostly)
An Information Security Place Podcast (researcher types nattering on recent events, sometimes special topics)

and, as part of "how does one try to explain these things," plus my weekly "spot the gaffe" opportunity

Security Now (Steve Gibson and Leo Laporte)

I pick and choose items from:

  Banking Information Security Podcast

and there's a few security-related items that come down through the IT Conversations podcast, although mostly in terms
of IAM and Internet Identity, to be frank.

I used to try to listen to the "CERIAS Security Seminar Podcast" series of good talks, but stripping audio out, and the
size of the video podcasts caused me to fall off that.

One of my coworkers is involved in the The SIRA Podcast (Society of Information Risk Analysts), but I haven't spent
much time with it, since he and I chat regularly. :-)

This has been useful; since I don't have my home machine's subscriptions, I had to wander through the iTunes store and
it's probably time to rotate some new material in. I'm sure other list folk will have good suggestions, too.

Just wondering if there are any InfoSec Podcasts out there that people on this listserv really like? I know there is a
lot of "fluff" out there. Looking for recommendations for some really good ones. I have a long commute and a need to
catch up on CPEs.

Thank you,
-Craig
