Ask carefully.   I saw a demo of FIM last week.   Currently, it seems to require a domain connected PC to do 
self-service resets (even using when using "web").   It didn't fit our typical usage scenario well.

Can anyone weigh in on the self-service functionality in Forefront Identity Manager and if it is overkill to use that 
product for this?
