No I think you are right Jeff. It's either all or nothing. The logging
level is notifications which also includes all mobility logs unfortunately.

Subject: [SECURITY] Aruba guest portal logging...

Quick question (for one of the Aruba persuasion, which I'm decidedly not...)

I would like to log information from the Aruba guest portal to a syslog
server, but up to this point all I seem to accomplish is either logging what
seems like everything including the kitchen sink, or nothing at all.

I've done this on "other devices" by setting the syslog "logging cutoff
value" to an appropriately high enough value (Informational, Warnings,
Alerts, etc) to remove the noise, and setting the events in question to at
least that value to insure they are logged.

The Aruba logging configuration screen is less than intuitive or I'm missing
something obvious (not seeing the "logging cutoff value" knob, just some
general event categories).

Can anyone shed any light on this mystery?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff
