Hi Tood,
We have a welcome letter sent by the CIO to all incoming students related to filesharing (in part to meet HEOA
requirements).
We are just now implementing security awareness training and will target faculty and staff. The specifics have yet to
be worked out, but we have created a one page handout that we plan to include with the new employee folder to raise
awareness of computer security and provide general contact information for computer-related issues.

I'm considering designing some verbiage for the CIO to include in a Welcome e-mail showing links to security awareness
webpages, etc.

Does anyone have input in the initial email for a newuser? Does your organization do this? Who manages and develops it?
