For a moment let's forget costs or course options.

What is the underlying immediate need for your institution? Many courses
are NICE for a tech to have, but in a bad economy, everyone needs to focus
on areas where there is a significant need in order to justify any such
expense.

Subject: [SECURITY] SANS 504 Alternatives

Hello everyone, I am trying to convince my boss to let me go to a SANS 504
Hacker Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling course but, in this
economy, he's concerned about cost. I told him that SANS is the best
training out there but he wants me to find the cost of similar training
from other vendors, if it's out there.

Does anyone know of similar courses from other companies?

Thanks,

Ben
