Too...thank you all for the feedback and lively debate...it certainly helps
to gain an understanding of other's point of view on things (and in this
case right/out/in/up/down/left-sourcing)...Jim

Cal...FYI...made a follow up post in regards to "right-sourced" vs.
"out-sourced"....regardless if in/out house (excuse the pun), both are at
the same time politically incorrect to use...there is no real good catch-all
term to use to describe this that will please everyone's understanding of
the terms/definitions....so how about this phrase "our College's business is
teaching & learning, and not being an email hosting provider" (this is more
"wordy", but also accurate in terms of justifying what "business processes"
we choose to focus on....Jim

Note that in no case does 'right-sourced' by itself add any pertinent

Another thing to think about - if "right-sourced" is not merely a
content-free buzzword, why does nobody ever say "we wrong-sourced"?

Not to beat the horse deader ;-), and certainly not to pick on Jim, but
has "right-sourced" ever meant the opposite of "out-sourced?" Should
you /want/ to use "right-source" to mean "in-house," you would have to
further clarify the term, I think.
