Training opportunity: Audit focused SANS class

Please note a new listing on the "SANS-EDU" training event list (at
www.SANS.org/Partnership)  that is a bit different from the typical
Security track offerings. The Audit track course "AUD507 Auditing
Networks, Perimeters & Systems" will be sponsored by ACUA (Association
of College and University Auditors) in Jacksonville, Fl on March 10-15,
2008. The registration fee for the event (to be held at the Jacksonville
Hyatt Regency Riverfront hotel) is $1500 (meals not included), with a
discounted room rate of $145 for attendees.
Please share this with your school's internal auditors if they are not
on this list!  For non-auditors, this class may still be helpful to IT
and security staff involved in self-assessment efforts and to help give
you a better idea of what your auditors may be looking for when they
come knocking on your door!
