We continue to discover cyber-squatters, e.g. .. MetropolitanStateCollegeOfDenver.com MetropolitanStateCollegeOfDenver.net MetropolitanStateCollegeOfDenver.org MetropolitanStateCollegeOfDenver.edu MSCD.COM MSCD.NET MSCD.ORG These same people also use the names of many other colleges and universities. There is a procedure to challenge cyber-squatters, but the phenomenon continues to exist. We are interested in assessing whether the damage done by these people is worth the expense of challenging them or purchasing some or all variations on our name. How are other institutions handling this problem? --- Clyde Hoadley, CISSP, GSEC Security & Disaster Recovery Coordinator Department of Information Technology Metropolitan State College of Denver Campus Box 96, P.O.
