John, Thanks again. Just a couple of quick questions. When did you implement this message, and on what systems does it display? Also, what community sees this message? Is it everyone including students, or just employees. Lastly, what was the community reaction to the message? Thanks in advance. Steve. Steven R. They have a recommended banner message that is a "consensus" message from various areas of the Net (Edu, gov, mil, com, org). It's a good starting point and we are using them here at VA Tech. The CIS www site is http://www.cisecurity.org and the benchmarks and scanning tools are free. -Randy Marchany VA Tech IT Security Lab Blacksburg, VA 24060 540-231-9523 marchany () vt edu http://security.vt.edu ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Discussion Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/cg/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Discussion Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/cg/. ********** Participation and subscription information for this EDUCAUSE Discussion Group discussion list can be found at http://www.educause.edu/cg/.
