Britney and Kevin are Chaotic

Five days of delving into the unholy pits of Microsoft RPC will turn anyone into a black ghost of themselves - coughing, febrile, an autistic primitive muttering inanities. What sort of protocol designer makes their protocol different over the local named pipe interface and over the remote named pipe interface? An insane evil clown protocol designer, that's who. I notice NFR has added a module that detects CANVAS's MSRPC evasions ( http://www.nfr.com/solutions/detail.php?id=171). I wonder what all the IDS companies are going to do as soon as people start setting the packet privacy flag on their exploits. Just match on packets that are encrypted?

Then again, the IDS industry is the deformed little brother of the information security industry. No matter how much you beat it up, it never gets any prettier. I've always wondered why so many good minds get sucked into it, never to be seen again.

Almost as puzzling is how Kevin Federline managed to snag Britney. It's certainly possible no one else on earth could put up with her since her life, as revealed by her own video-cam, is a painful combination of being a traveling lapdancer and a fairy princess. Nevertheless, their amature pr0n-meets reality TV show makes for good cathartic viewing, especially if NTLM is rattling inside your brain. I've never been so happy (and surprised) to reach a vulnerable function before, I have to say. In some senses, where smarter people apply good hard work, I've been applying a chaotic sort of luck, much like Kevin. Apparantly, it works for both of us.
